On the right wall, millions of people set their ladders against the wall and climb feverishly to get to the top.

Some of the others climbing are doing it because everyone else is doing it, and they think that must be the correct path. Only to find out, when they reach the top, that they did not achieve their desired results.

They look over the wall and are disappointed.

But then, you start climbing. Only to find the journey difficult. 

The ladder shakes. The rungs are not solid and seem slippery. The ladder wobbles as you climb because you didn't set it correctly before climbing.  Perhaps you were rushing to start or someone else encouraged you, but you know inside this is the not the right ladder.

As you near the top, you look over your shoulder at the other wall. 

Because you're nearing the top of this one, you can see what's on the other side of the other wall.  It's shorter.

And would you know it...

What's over there is actually the joy you were hoping to achieve.  You see the future that you desire.

The first thing you notice is that there aren't many people climbing the other wall.  

The second thing you notice is that everyone - not just a select few - climbing the other wall are all happy, fulfilled, and joyful.

But you're conflicted, tired, and disgruntled from all the effort it took to climb the wall you're on.  The ladder wabbles as you step up to the next rung.

Do you stay where you are and just deal with what you have achieved?
